About Us
Shawn Hart is a founding member who has been working with dogs for more than 20 years and began working with whippets in 2004. Shawn owns (or is owned by) Bella, the 2007 Willow Award Winner through the American Whippet Club for therapy dogs. Bella is also famous and is frequently seen on Animal Planet's "America's Cutest Dog Contest." Her claim to fame originated from her YouTube videos as a talking dog.
Shawn competes with one of her adopted whippets in a competative dog sport called Flyball, with their team, Express Delivery. George the whippet is ranked within the top 50 whippets of North America and can also be seen on YouTube and in the Flyball racing lanes in Florida.
In recognition of her volunteer work with whippets, Shawn received the highest award for volunteers at AAA - the James B. Creal award for 2010. She now works in marketing and community outreach at the Humane Society of St. Lucie County in Florida.
